SOLO EXHIBITION - THE MOORE MIAMI - INAUGURAL FELLOWSHIP 2026/2027

A Theory of Remains Solo Exhibition considers what endures after systems falter, what matter holds, records, and carries forward. At its center, Apogee suspended reclaimed domestic and coastal materials in a state of tension, where gilded surfaces and weathered fragments register time, gravity, and accumulation.

The work inhabits a threshold between collapse and continuation, asking what persists beyond use and intention. Across the exhibition, cast-off materials are treated as sites of memory and inscription. Through processes of transformation, Lowe reframes debris as evidence, bearing traces of environmental precarity, political histories, and collective responsibility. The gallery becomes a space to reflect on what is left behind, and how those remains shape our understanding of the present.

"What remains is never passive, it holds, records, and quietly insists on shaping what comes next.” - Cynthia O'Keefe, Creative Director The Moore
